Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our Technology & Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-level consolidation projects, including the merger and integration of multiple applications and systems. This individual will be responsible for conducting gap analysis, facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders, gathering and refining business requirements, and driving the development and finalization of comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD)
Responsibilities:
- Gap Analysis & Process Evaluation: Conduct detailed gap analyses to assess differences between existing applications and target systems. Identify redundant features, missing capabilities, and opportunities for process harmonization
- Facilitating Workshops and Discussions: Organizing and leading workshops or meetings with the with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure that all relevant requirements are captured and understood.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including distribution, sales and technology teams to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.
- Requirements Gathering: Gather, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements to support system consolidation efforts. Validate the requirements and manage sign-off processes.
- Documentation: Preparing the Business Requirements Document (BRD) based on feedback, ensuring it reflects the needs of the business and is aligned with project goals. Ensuring the BRD is in line with the overall objectives of the project and provides a solid foundation for subsequent phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience working within Media/Entertainment- Years of experience (7+)
- 4+ years of prior Business Analyst experience working with harmonization/consolidation projects
- 4+ years of experience working closely with key stakeholders to finalize and gather requirements
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience working with theatrical distribution & planning systems
- Familiarity with studio technology ecosystems and distribution workflows
- Experience in the integration of distribution technology platforms (e.g., digital release systems, box office tracking tools).
Soft Skills
- Proven experience managing enterprise consolidation projects, particularly involving theatrical distribution systems.
- Hands-on experience merging and rationalizing functionalities across multiple platforms.
- Strong gap analysis skills, with experience identifying, documenting, and resolving process and system gaps.
- Expertise in facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement elicitation meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Strong experience in documenting BRDs, functional specs, and system requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
