Position: Data Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Shift: Mon- Fri in a Hybrid environment - 3 days in office
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project may last up to 12+ months (potential for contract-to-hire)months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate Range:$40-47 per hour
Experience Required: 5+ year

Project Description:The Data Consultant will support metric reporting routines, producing pristine and error-free reports and dashboards for senior executives. Responsibilities include data mining, aggregation, and analysis to identify discrepancies and at-risk controls.

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

• Deliver reports using existing macros and code.
• Identify and fix code or macro issues.
• Capture, manipulate, and clean data from multiple sources.
• Apply advanced Excel and SQL skills efficiently.
• Adapt to changing priorities and ad-hoc needs.
• Collaborate effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Follow up on reporting requests and questions.

Requirements:

• Advanced Excel skills (5+ years)
• Moderate-to-advanced SQL skills (5+ years)
• Data mining experience (7+ years)
• Analytics experience (7+ years)

Preferred Experience:

• Working in a highly regulated industry or financial institution.
• Interacting with senior-level managers.
• Creating dashboard reports or analytics.
