The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager. This position would be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing and communication strategies to enhance the MAC and MSP brands and drive engagement.

This position is part of the Strategic Marketing and Communications department, which stewards the MAC/MSP brands and supports revenue growth by developing a holistic digital marketing strategy, communication strategy and strategic creative solutions grounded in research, analytics, and results tracking. The Strategic Marketing and Communications department is part of the Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement Division, which functions as an in-house team serving as stewards of strategy, developing strategic communications, and creating stakeholder champions to ensure the organization delivers on its purpose, values, and strategic goals.

This position provides an opportunity for on-site and remote work. MAC's remote work policy requires employees to be on-site three days of the week. Among the three on-site days, one of them must be either a Monday or a Friday.

Position Description

Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement effective social media and web content strategies, including platform-specific plans to engage and grow audiences.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and provide actionable recommendations for integration and improvement based on MACs digital, marketing and communications and organizational strategies.
  • Ensure seamless integration and alignment across all digital marketing campaigns, including those managed by external partners.
  • Create and execute media strategies rooted in data-driven insights, negotiate with vendors, and optimize campaigns based on past learnings.
  • Evaluate the success of digital initiatives regularly and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
  • Stay current on digital and web trends, including user experience (UX) best practices, recommending improvements to enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified, customer-focused approach to digital communications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Digital Marketing Content Creation and Management 
  • Develop and oversee the strategy, messaging, and user experience of MAC and MSP websites in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all contributors follow established guidelines.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate digital content to align with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Manage and maintain a cohesive content calendar for social media and digital platforms, tracking results and analyzing performance to inform future improvements.
  • Lead social media community management, maintaining brand voice and guidelines.
  • Use analytics and feedback to guide responsive, data-driven content strategies.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure social media and web content align with broader communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement goals.
  • Partner with the Customer Experience team to deliver a seamless cross-channel approach for addressing passenger and customer inquiries.
  • Develop compelling copy for social media posts, web content, and digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices.
  • Ensure website accuracy and relevancy through regular audits and content updates.
  • Coordinate social media ad buys and boosted posts to support strategic campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide timely updates to digital channels during crises, as directed by leadership.

Digital Technologies Project Management
  • Collaborating with the MAC's IT department and vendors to oversee development, maintenance, and continuous enhancement projects for web and digital marketing technologies within the Strategic Marketing and Communications department.

Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Five (5) years of professional marketing experience with a focus on website content, digital marketing, communications, and/or social media management.
  • Strong, demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing disciplines, including websites, social media, SEO, SEM, digital promotions/advertising, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms such as Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Experience with web analytics, digital media testing and campaign optimization.
  • Proven success in driving traffic growth and improving conversions.
  • Familiarity with channel marketing and media mix modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (preferably Drupal) and Salesforce integration.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including ROI analysis and performance metrics evaluation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience writing for diverse audiences and digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated project management and data analysis expertise for digital marketing plans.
  • Basic knowledge of site architecture, sitemaps and web development principles.
  • Proficiency (intermediate skill level) in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed and respond to emergencies 24/7.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for commuting between job sites.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, user experience (UX/CX), communications, or a related field.
  • Agency experience in planning or managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, including Google AdWords certification.
  • Knowledge and application of geofencing and geotargeting strategies and technologies.
  • Experience working with or in a public sector organization.
  • Professional writing expertise with a focus on clear and impactful communication.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (intermediate level).
  • Familiarity with aviation industry issues, airline operations and the Metropolitan Airports Commission's programs, operations and policies.
