Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Development Product Owner with a strong background in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner and be proficient in using Jira and Jira Work Management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business needs and requirements.
· Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
· Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and stakeholder needs.
· Agile Methodologies: Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
· User Story Development: Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure they are well-understood by the development team.
· Jira Management: Utilize Jira and Jira Work Management tools to track progress, manage tasks, and ensure transparency in the development process.
· Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality products.
· Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery.
· Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
· Customer Focus: Ensure the product meets customer needs and provides a positive user experience.
· Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the P&C insurance sector.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
· Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry, including regulatory requirements and market trends.
· Agile Expertise: Experience working in Scaled Agile (SAFe) development environments.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certifications.
· Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
