Our global NYC client in the beauty space is seeking a Global Communications & PR/ Advocacy Coordinator to add to their growing team! This is a hybrid role in NYC (2-3 days onsite) and hours are 9am – 5 pm EST.
Responsibilities:
- Supports in the writing/development and briefing of PR assets (press releases, expert Q&As, mailer concepts, etc.)
- Assists team with global event planning & logistics
- Compiles weekly news round up and bi-annual market best practices newsletter
- Tracks competitors and potential influencer partners (inclusive of pulling stats from Traackr)
- Supports team in influencer engagement and content creation ideas
- Designs and formats presentations (leadership, brand partnerships, competitive benchmarks, influencers, product campaigns etc.)
- Day-to-day liaison with cross-functional teams & global markets
- Manages Values Match, contracts and vendor addition process for all team initiatives
- Oversees PR product closet & send outs
- Manages the timeline & delivery of all Comms assets to markets to support brand launches & initiatives
- Supports team with external agency management
- Handles administrative duties for team (inclusive of PO process and budget)
- Pulls analytics from Gold dashboard, Sprinklr and Talkwalker to support team projects (as needed)
Qualifications:
- 1+ year working experience (or internship) in a beauty or luxury company and/or an agency
- Degree in PR or Communications preferred
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite (most importantly PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail, resourceful, with a can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity about the global space
- Strong planning and project management skills; ability to work autonomously
- Have a finger on the pulse keeping up with the latest industry innovations, trends, best practices, and influencers
- Passionate about beauty and skincare
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $21.59 to $23.99 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
