Sikorsky Operations and Facilities is looking for a HVACR/Mechanical Technician.

Responsibilities include:

Perform complicated service, repair and maintenance operations on all heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, air moving equipment, and related electronic
equipment and controls throughout the plant and allied buildings.
Basic Qualifications:
Equivalent to 3 years trades training in air conditioning and refrigeration. Requires knowledge of principles of air conditioning, temperature control and refrigeration.

3+ years trade experience working with fairly complicated blueprints of air conditioning and temperature control systems, layout sketches and complicated blueprints for refrigeration equipment.

Must maintain current EPA certification(s) and D-2,D-1,S-2 or S-1 as required.

Work from general instructions and standard methods and procedures to plan, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct very involved and complicated equipment.

Apply trade knowledge to determine whether
equipment can be operated through shift.

Plan work so as to minimize effect on related operations.

Able to perform light physical effort required to make repairs on positioned machines, and check temperatures and humidity gauges. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Occasionally exert moderate physical effort to climb ladders or work in awkward positions.
Desired Skills:
Experience with managing adjustments to HVAC systems using building automation controls, ALC or equivalent.

Experience with high pressure steam systems and piping.

Experience with fluid pump service and repair.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
