The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking a highly motivated, independent working IT Specialist with proven experience to join their team in Jacksonville, FL to support the Navy.
SHIFT SCHEDULE: On-Site Monday-Friday, 8- hour shift (with starting hours anywhere between 6:30 am & 8:30 am)
The candidate will assist the on-site team with in-person troubleshooting. Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to: reimaging machines for new users, installing Active Directory & other software programs on desktops and laptops, and providing desk-side troubleshooting & support for employees.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or Active Interim Secret Clearance is required for consideration
- Active CompTIA SEC+ Certificate is required for consideration
- 2-5 Years of IT experience
- Hands-on experience with both hardware repair & software repair
- Active Directory experience
- Experience with reimaging machines
- Strong understanding of enterprise, network, systems, operations, and support.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to conceptualize, design, construct, test & implement portions of their internet technology solutions
- Collect, identify, define & organize detailed user and information technology requirements
- Experience with project planning
- Experience troubleshooting laptop & desktop PC's, peripheral equipment & basic outlook issues

- Windows Server Experience
- Windows 7/8/10 Experience
