As a Lead Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in leading and managing electrical engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. The lead engineer will provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation, improve processes, and achieve project objectives. You will report directly to our Platform Electrical Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a hybrid 3/2 work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion
• Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
• Design and develop electrical systems and components
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

• Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex electrical engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practices
• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
