The Flight Test Instrumentation Technician is responsible
the installation, repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of the data
acquisition systems on the 757 Flying Test Bed (FTB) and other test vehicles as
well as implementing electrical and systems alterations to the entire fleet of
Experimental Flight Test Aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with
Engineering to ensure that the test article instrumentation set-up is
fully configured.
Works with Engineering to ensure that data acquisition and display requirements are achieved (and achievable).
In conjunction with Engineering and Quality ensures that electrical and instrumentation work is properly documented.
Working closely with the Engineers preparing procedures for the safe and proper operation of the instrumentation, data displays and electrical systems on the FTB.
Supports the FTE,
Project Test Engineer, engineering analysts, and Test Pilots during the
Flight Tests as a member of the flight crew.
Participates in the
Flight Readiness Review (FRR) process as required.
Monitors real-time data for quality during all test operations.
Troubleshooting and correcting data system issues during all test operations.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma
Hands on experience with
wiring (Aircraft wiring experience preferred)
Experience working with
Electrical Drawings

Experience in test
support.
FAA
Airframe & Propulsion license.
Experience
in computer networking
Working knowledge of the
