Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2025 Summer Manufacturing Engineer Intern. In this role, you will create and update work instructions from 3D models and drawings, design of tooling using 3D modeling software, and hardware evaluation verifying compliance to applicable drawing and specifications. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of aptitude in solid modeling software (ideally Solidworks or Catia), have an engineering background, and have the ability to interpret drawings.

Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.

Desired Skills:
* Prior experience with manufacturing industry preferred
* Demonstrated proficiency with MS office, Excel, and PowerPoint and strong data analysis skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles for process improvement.
* Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment
* Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
