Job Description:
Position: Cloud/DevOps Engineer
Location: Alexandria, VA
Terms: 6 month contract to hire
Job Description:
- You will provide thought leadership and execution acumen on small team of senior team members to deliver mission focused cloud environment.
- You will work with team members to resolve technical challenges to provide value to the end user.
- This small team will produce outsized impact on operational capabilities necessary for mission success.
- Your work in this fast-paced environment with high expectations will produce significant impacts for the customer segment.
- You will use your full compliment of technical and interpersonal skills to deliver on the stated requirements.
Education:
- Bachelors
Required Experience:
- 3 years
Required Technical Skills:
- AWS experience and certifications
- Familiar with containerization technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline, Infrastructure as Code, and automating workflows
- Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes
Security Clearance Level:
- TS/SCI
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Communication
- Problem solving
- Teamwork
Preferred Skills:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Expert
- Experience with serverless architecture
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
