Job Description:
Apex Systems is seeking a Top Secret cleared Test Engineer to join our client for a full-time, direct hire position in Huntsville, Alabama.
This will be in support of a newly awarded, fully funded program through 2032!
Position Overview:
The Test Engineer will create test plans with test cases for user stories. Using automation, you will need to generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs and be able to document the results.

Location: Onsite - Huntsville, Alabama
Compensation: $105,000 - $120,000/yr
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret (TS/SCI preferred)
*Relocation assistance package option available
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with designing and executing test scripts, test plans, and procedures and documenting the expected and actual results
- Experience with automation testing frameworks
- Experience with creating and updating automated test cases or scripts
- Experience with programming in Python
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree and6+ years of experience with software testing, or 10+ years of experience with software testing in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with programming in JavaScript or Java
- Experience with backend testing, API testing, UI testing, and DB queries
- Experience with testing Cloud-based architectures
- Experience in integrating test frameworks with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of commercial cloud platforms, services, and technologies
- Experience with an Agile release methodology
