WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Lead manufacturing activities and workforce to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets for the JSF Production Assembly area.
* Assign daily tasks to mechanics and oversee execution.
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of aircraft records.
* Implement build plans for structural assembly and systems installations.
* Identify and implement improvements in quality, schedule, and cost.
* Promote a culture of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention.
* Ensure employees are certified for tasks requiring certification.
* Maintain a safe work environment and address unsafe conditions promptly.
* Ensure compliance with core and program-specific processes.
* Drive continuous improvement and develop technical competencies and performance.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes.
* Identify skill gaps and collaborate with Labor Relations and HR to enhance employee engagement.

Basic Qualifications:
*Experience with Manufacturing &/or Production Operations methodologies

*Experience using tooling, machines, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment

*Experience with business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality)
Desired Skills:
* Working knowledge of Manufacturing Systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI.
* Previous development experience.
* Working Knowledge of Crew Plans.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Previous experience supervising a multi-purpose team towards daily goals.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
