As an Operations Co-op, you will provide technical support primarily to plant operations groups and is responsible for plant troubleshooting, testing and optimization.

September 8 to December 15, 2025.
Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hours a week.

What will you do?
Optimize evaporation circuit and filtration equipment.
Streamline evaporators and filters.
Perform duties as assigned.
What do you need for this role?
Sophomore level or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
Completed Material and Energy Balances or Thermodynamics class prior to internship/co-op
2.75 GPA or higher
Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.
Student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship.
1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is required.
Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
Basic computer skills are required.
Experience working in a team environment is a must.
Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.
Effective verbal communication skills are a plus.
Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
