Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking for a Project Management Coordinating project portions that will impact the development and implementation of training, such as training building set up, maintenance, glass panel simulator room support, etc. For immediate consideration please email Lauren Pritts at [email protected].
Pay Rate: $40/hour to $45/hour
Type: contract 12 months
Location: Hiawatha, Iowa
Fully onsite (no remote/hybrid option for this role)
Job Overview
This position is responsible for the completion of substantial projects that support nuclear objectives. Employees in this role lead projects that vary with regard to resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. Individuals maintain project momentum, report completion status, and control costs to budget.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Leads substantial and complex projects independently to ensure completion in accordance with schedule date
• Develops project plans such that stakeholders and contributors understand their assignments and timing
• Deploys resources efficiently, ensuring that work performance flows without bottlenecks and gaps
• Innovates solutions to problems that arise from changing project circumstances
• Values and effectively incorporates certain functional experts into projects
• Calculates costs and controls expenses to budget
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelors or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 4+ years
• Minimum experience in Lieu of Degree: 9+ years
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors - Engineering
• Accredited Training Program experience
