Position Description:
The Instructional Systems Designer is responsible for creating and developing effective learning materials and programs to enhance the performance of individuals and organizations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze training needs, develop learning objectives, design instructional materials, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers and subject matter experts to identify and analyze training needs.
- Develop learning objectives and design instructional materials, including online courses, manuals, job aids, and multimedia materials.
- Apply adult learning principles to create engaging and effective training programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement necessary improvements.
- Develop assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and provide feedback to learners.
- Stay updated on instructional design trends and technologies.
- Communicate with stakeholders and team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and e-learning technologies.
- Proficiency with instructional design software and authoring tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven capability in developing effective training strategies.
- 3+ years working as an instructional designer.
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
- Hybrid work preferred (1 day in office per week).
