Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking talented Receiving Inspectors to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ in the Global Autonomous & Tactical Solutions Operating Unit supporting multiple programs and efforts and ensuring Quality Products are delivered to our customers.  
The selected candidates will perform the following:

• Perform inspection activities including but not limited to Receiving Inspection, Source Inspection, Virtual/Desktop Inspection, using calibrated tooling, drawings, specifications and engineering data to determine acceptability of products to contract and Northrop Grumman requirements.
• Interacts with internal and external customers on issues requiring coordination between organizations in a professional manner.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written), and organizational skills. Must work well in a team setting.
• Have strong attention to detail and work with an appropriate sense of urgency.
Qualifications
Receiving Inspector (level 2)

• High School Diploma with 2 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, production control, global supply chain, and/or quality; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 0 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, or production control, global supply chain, and/or quality OR 4 or more years of relevant engineering, manufacturing, production control, global supply chain, and/or quality experience in lieu of degree.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Receiving Inspector (level 3)

• High School Diploma with 4 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, production control, global supply chain, and/or quality; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 2 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, or production control, global supply chain, and/or quality OR 6 or more years of relevant engineering, manufacturing, production control, global supply chain, and/or quality experience in lieu of degree.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ISO9001, AS9100 audits and principles.
• Experience using S4 ERP system.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis.
• Familiarity with inspection tooling such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges.
• Experience with ANSI Y14.5 drawing interpretation.
• Experience with any of the following airframes is desired: E2, F18, B2, Global Hawk or F5/T38.
• Awareness of or trained to IPC 620 and or J-STD-001.
Salary Range: $39,600 - $66,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
