We are seeking an RF Systems Engineer for our sunny Orlando facility to support the development of RF test setups and RF hardware development including requirements verification, completion of trades, lab testing, and system performance analysis.
The RF Systems Engineer will also responsible for the integration and test of the RF system into the air vehicle or test range to validate that the system meets performance requirements.
This role also includes supplier interaction and management.
What You Will Be Doing
Essential tasks for this key role include:
- RF requirements analyses, and trade study execution
- Completion of Technical Data Package through preparation of Specifications, Interface Control Documents, Test Requirements, and Software Requirements
- Completion of Statements of Work and interfacing with subcontractors
- Managing subcontractors from task completion to delivery of a product that meets requirements within the required timeline and budget
- Executing RF test activities to include the generation of test plans and reports
- Oversee the build and assembly of hardware and test fixtures
- Analysis of test data to include signal post-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data
- Up to 25% travel required.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
- Basic understanding of radar concepts
- Basic understanding of electromagnetics and antenna concepts
- Ability to create test documents such as plans, procedures, and reports
- Experience in creation of data analysis, reduction, and visualization tools using MATLAB or another programming language
- Experience defining or reviewing software requirements and software validation techniques
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and oral
** Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with test range control electronics or software
- Experience with lab test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Signal Generators
- Experience with Missile System Development
- Experience in systems development, integration, and production
- Experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and formal system development
- Development of system level test plans/procedures and associated reviews focused on data analysis and findings
- RF link budget analysis
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
