We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Scrum Master / Business Analyst to join our fintech client’s software development team, working on an industry-leading trading platform. In this role, you will act as a liaison between product owners and multiple agile development teams to refine and clarify business requirements for new features and complex technical needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business analysis and agile project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful, technology-driven business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate agile ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to identify business requirements, functional design, and process design.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements and business rules. Advise the business on priorities, risks, and cost-benefit tradeoffs of various solutions.
• Coordinate initiatives across various delivery portfolios within the organization.
• Develop business scenarios and use cases to explain business requirements to stakeholders and the technical team.
• Guide teams in creating improvement goals and track progress through team metrics (e.g., burn-down charts, velocity).
• Support the development team by obtaining approvals via various review boards (e.g., Local Governance, Service Review Board).
• Work with external domain partners to track upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Act as the communication bridge between both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clarity of technical requirements.
• Help refine user stories and identify requirements to drive solution design.
• Participate in the troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of Production Support issues, answering key functional questions regarding application behavior.

Technical Skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• 5+ years of experience in Business System Analysis, including writing business and technical requirements, conducting impact analysis, and documenting system/product specifications.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in the Trading/Finance domain is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and experience creating Jira dashboards, filters, burn-down charts, and velocity tracking.
• Experience working in an engineering role (e.g., Software Engineer, Quality Engineer) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and ability to facilitate agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
• SAFe Agile certification is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Experience interfacing with QA teams and Production Support.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and balance delivery timelines effectively.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $53 to $63 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
