Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Concord, CA.

Job Role and Responsibility: Deploy code, implement new infrastructure and new technologies, develop alerting and alarming solutions, and 24x7 production environment monitoring and support to ensure optimum performance, availability, and security of the front-end and middleware environment. Additional responsibilities include: Advanced application support for the resolution of highly complex technical problems; directing large-scale projects and application implementations from proof of concept through testing and installation; statistics gathering and analysis to assist architecture engineering and development teams in determining capacity planning requirements to support projected transaction volumes, response times, and system availability targets; collaborating with enterprise partners on issues and initiatives that impact the infrastructure; provide training and direction to less experienced web support engineers and staff. Projects/hardware refresh as the customer base grows and new functionalities are added; Utilize AI and machine language learning into our existing setup; automate and utilize cutting edge technologies; securing the system and deploying machine critical patches; utilize Ansible/AppDynamics/Tomcat/F5 load balancing/Scripting and home grown tools; utilize advanced technologies and methods to integrate web systems with existing systems and enable the creation of new or expanded web enterprises; develop new documentation and departmental procedures; direct the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time, and system availability targets; provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems involving the maintenance and/or creation of websites and e-commerce applications and their integration into the existing systems environment; lead projects, allocate and manage resources, and manage the work of less experienced staff; assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas and overseeing the creation of updates and testing of the business continuation plan. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering. Experience requirement can be met through completion of relevant graduate degree coursework.

Salary: $146,485 - $179,200

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
