Job Description:
Apex Systems is seeking multiple Senior Lab Technicians to join our pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing client located in Branchburg, NJ. We are looking to screen and submit qualified candidates for consideration as early as this week!
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Schedule: M-F 7:00am to 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $24-28/hr ($36-42/hr for overtime hours when/if applicable)

General Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee production and production support duties for Operations, ensuring the quality of production by the department.
- Carry out various duties related to production operations, adhering to departmental work instructions, SOPs, OSHA safety regulations, and cGMPs.
- Monitor and manage lab supply inventory, input production data and other work-output data into appropriate systems (e.g., SAP / LIMS), and maintain documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Handle hazardous materials as required by the activities described above.
- Perform direct manufacturing activities such as the formulation of Oligo Reagents, enzyme Reagents, Oligo Pools, Liats oligo solutions, Buffer solutions, and HPLC eluent solutions by following detailed instructions outlined in production batch records and SOPs.
- Interface with internal groups to ensure laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, and documentation conform to established practices.
- Attend required training classes and participate in on-the-job training.
- Manage schedules, workload, and establish priorities based on business requirements, SAP, and/or internal customer needs.
- Participate in the design and organization of experiments in conjunction with the supervisor, providing input in writing experimental protocols, investigations, and reports as needed. Serve as a resource to operations or scientific staff.
- Provide input for improving existing laboratory procedures. Assist the supervisor in developing and implementing new procedures and evaluating new products and equipment. Assist with generating written standard operating procedures.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of laboratory experience
- Basic proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
