About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a REDIS Enterprise systems engineer to further enable our platform expansion plans. REDIS supports 1,500 databases, more than 800 applications, with several upcoming strategic deliverables.
The candidate will work as part of a US-based team to support delivery of our product backlog, and partner closely with application stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver high-value outcomes. The candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, and training of Redis private cloud platform systems. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing features or processes to consume new or upgraded platform software systems and products.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within platform technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of enterprise Redis platform hosting strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document activities associated with technology domain, including Redis Enterprise platform upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of Redis platform technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex platform and application issues and support the team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements of the Redis Platform
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical platform challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of System Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of experience of REDIS engineering
- 3+ years of experience in Linux administration
- 3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies and
- 3+ years of experience with network principles of TCP/IP, and DNS
- 2+ years of experience with Ansible automation
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages in either Java, .NET, Python, Shell scripting
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience on Private Cloud platform technologies including Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Google Kubernetes or Azure HCI
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, and any other enterprise level technologies
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including TSL/SSL technologies
- Proficiency in Github, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of REDIS enterprise architecture in large scale implementations

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00Benefits
