Who will you be working with?
Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards

How will you make a difference?
Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Department delivering professional engineering work. Department develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or supply chain.

• 7+ years of of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering with various commodities.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time to required customer, supplier, and company sites as needed

What will your typical day look like?

• Includes both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.

• Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.

• SQEs have various levels of differentiation which are related to level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and ability to manage vendors.

• Develops annual plan for own unit and delivers data for the programs of encompassing units in the function or in the business and midterm plans.

• Department shares knowledge acquired in concrete projects.

• Responsibility across multiple job families (e.g.. Quality Assurance & Quality Control).

• Previous experience in regional or product line scope.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
