Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a candidate to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for Sentinel Weapon System. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.  The candidate ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The candidate performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The selected candidate will clearly demonstrate strong management skills and will have a track record as a motivated leader, an effective communicator, and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business. Demonstrated abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching, are a must. They will have an ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the directorate business areas as required to accomplish team and department goals.  The primary role of the candidate will be focused on the development and maintenance of Interface Control Modules (ICM) and integration of these activities within systems engineering disciplines.
Basic Qualifications:

• T03- Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited university with 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with a Master's degree or 1 year with a PhD
• T04- Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited university with 8 years of experience, 6 years of experience with a Master's degree or 4 years with a PhD.
• 1+ years of experience with CAD modeling software such as Siemens NX, Solid Edge, Pro/E, or Solid Works.
• 1+ years of experience working with Systems Engineering and Integration and Test processes on the Sentinel Program with emphasis on interfaces. Must have solid understanding of these processes.
• 1+ year of experience with Agile, JIRA, Confluence, DOORS or Cameo.
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope; investigation completed within the last 6 years or in Continuous Evaluation Program
Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Active DOD Top Secret clearance and/or SCI access
• 1+ year experience creating program governance

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Salary Range: $95,300 - $168,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
