Job Summary

At NetApp, in the Engineering Tools & Services organization as an software engineer with a focus on Security and Automation; you will be part of a team that is responsible for NetApp's internal engineering infrastructure and services.This work will span several technologies such as automation development, IAM (Identity and Access Management) security, hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, and Google) security and security within the NetApp engineering datacenters and labs. The team you will be working with is responsible for planning, designing, and implementation of end-to-end solutions and self-service solutions to NetApp's internal engineering teams.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong passion for security and automation.Working with the team on improving our security controls, compliance, and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Develop automation to implement security controls on Identity and Access Management ( AWS, Azure and Google Cloud accounts used by NetApp's development teams.
  • Use of GenAI/GPT to determine best solutions and assist with development of the security controls.
  • Knowledge of LDAP, Windows Active Directory, and Azure AD(Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Knowledge of automation or scripting languages such asPython, Ansible, etc.
  • Collaborate with team members to design, implement, and manage security controls and processes to protect our infrastructure, systems, and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security requirements with business goals and drive security best practices across the organization.

Education

Prefer candidate with BS degree in Computer Science or similar program.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $150,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
