Lockheed Martin's SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking an Software Engineer/ Developer to join the SOF GLSS team in Lexington, KY. The candidate will perform classified software development duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.



What You Will Be Doing

As the Junior Software Developer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Role: Junior Software Developer
* Works as part of a six-person Scrum team using Agile software development methodology
* Supports Warehouse Property Accountability Management system development
* Collaborates with onsite customers within various business departments in the SSA
* Drives technology development lifecycle, including:
* System and software design
* Collaboration
* Automation tooling and infrastructure improvements
* Software integration
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Part of a small team responsible for all development efforts on an extremely diverse array of capabilities and contexts supporting the Supply Support Activity (SSA)

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with the automation of software-based systems
Experience with software languages such as .NET, React, Razor, SQL, C#, Java Script, HTML CSS, TypeScript, .NET Core, and EF Core
Experience with software test tools that deal with application behavior
Familiarity with Agile Software Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Must be willing to learn new technical skills outside of comfort zone and be open-minded to diving into whatever technical challenges call attention within their periphery
Active Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with Telerik Reports
Experience with Kendo UI
Familiarity with Gitlab and Atlassian products
Experience with Azure DevOps, Gitlab, and debugging tools
Understanding of cloud and containerization technologies (i.e. Kubernetes, Docker)
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to work with internal/external customers to solve technical problems and make recommendations for product enhancement(s)
Self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions
Experience with ATLAS Warehouse Management System
Bachelor's degree preferred
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
