Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges
When you work at Honeywell, you are a member of a global team of thinkers, innovators, dreamers, and doers who make the things that make the future. That means changing the way we fly, fueling jets in an eco-friendly way, keeping buildings smart and safe and even making it possible to breathe on Mars.
The future is what you make it.
Honeywell Aerospace Technologieshas been a leading provider of Navigation, Display systems, Flight Controls and Flight Management Systems, developing a broad and scalable portfolio of hardware and software products that provide differentiation and value for a wide range of aircraft configurations. Honeywell continues to lead the industry with Advanced Cockpit solutions and Integrated Avionics systems.
Honeywell's newest and most advanced Integrated Flight Deckwill herald a new age of aviation where connectivity will help enable true autonomy.
Honeywell's Anthemis the Aviation Industry's 1st Cloud-Connected "always-on" Integrated Cockpitsystem, featuring cloud-native communications, navigation, and surveillance systems, powered by a flexible software platform that can be customized for virtually every type of aircraft, from passenger planes and business aircraft to defense, general aviation and the rapidly emerging class of Advanced Air-Mobility (AAM) vehicles.
Honeywell's Anthemis breaking new ground in Avionics design and the pilot-machine interface, with the goal of making pilots' jobs easier and safer and essentially allowing pilots to configure their own cockpit based on mission and phase of flight.
Are you ready to help us make the future?
Become a part of Honeywell's innovation and technological advancement of Avionics technologies from Commercial, Business Jet, to Autonomous Flight/Urban Air Mobility platforms, as we grow ourTools team which is a crucial part of operationalizing Anthem for our customers.
As a Software Engineer II, this critical role will be associated with developing a tool suite for the Anthem cockpit operationalization. At the outset, the Software Engineer II will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of a qualified checker tool. This checker tool will be built to validate outputs of "Harmonic", a tool which will be used to generate the configuration data of entire Anthem configuration for a customer.
Configuration files, output from the Harmonic tool suite, are loadable parts with an associated part number, included in the final aircraft build, and make up a portion of the TSO data at both the functional and aircraft level. As such, all configuration files must be verified for correctness through use of qualified tooling. The sheer number of configuration parameters, quantity of associated attributes, and complexity in determining correctness of data within these files requires automation through use of a checker tool, and therefore tool qualification under the objectives of DO-330.
