As a Sr Technical Validatoron the Analysis, Mechanical Design, Technical Validation & Standards Team, you will be a key contributor to technical validation activities within the Aerospace Engineering and Technology, Control Systems (CS) Organization.
In this role, you will support technical validation activities for engines, power systems and mechanical controls systems for Aero and UAM aircrafts. Your responsibilities will include the review of drawings for manufacturability, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to industry and internal standards; verify geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to ensure proper fit at next-level assembly; and review 3D model integrity to ensure accurate translation to CAD and CAM tools.You will act as a technical lead for less experienced engineers supporting you. You will also lead continuous improvement efforts including knowledge capture, design standards, tools and process improvements.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated experience in product development.
- Demonstrated experience of industry standards.
- 6+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in Aerospace or related industries.
WE VALUE
- Significant experience in drawing detailing and drawing changes for new and legacy programs.
- Expert in GD&T and ASME Y14 Series.
- Significant experience with Honeywell Aerospace mechanical drawing requirements and industry drawing standards.
- Familiarized with tolerance stack-up analysis (axial and radial).
- Proficiency in CAD tools, NX preferred.
- Experience with PLM tools, Teamcenter preferred.
- Knowledge of unique manufacturing and design requirements for aerospace applications.
- Capability to work with self-direction, take initiative, exercise sound judgment, discretion, and capable of complex decision making in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven ability to present and effectively communicate technical details to varying audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to modify work schedule to satisfy challenging customer demands and compressed project schedules.
- Proven ability mentoring others.
