Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a *Supply Chain Planning Specialist to provide support to our team in our Clearfield, UT* location.
Defines and develops strategy for production planning and scheduling. Responsible for the assessment of day to day production requirements for forming and build needs; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material for multiple programs. Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management. Analyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements. Analyzes material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and SAP programs. Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements. Assesses capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements. Validates WIP status for make parts, determines priorities for build plan. Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments. Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins or FAIs as well as existing product line phase-outs or obsolete parts. Interfaces with multiple business systems and departments regarding inventory levels. Creates/releases production orders and material kanban signals. Receives/reviews requirements for make parts. Analyzes lead times and identifies inventory levels and part shortages to meet delivery dates/critical requirements. Coordinates with inventory management team, transportation department, program managers, and operations. Submits IMOs as required for part transport and reviews data in SAP system. Assists manager in pulling reports, attending required meetings for status updates and briefings for key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced development environment that consists of leading-edge technology suppliers and non-traditional supply base.
• Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
• Interface with the supply base to track orders and resolve issues.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute material forecasting and delivery schedule.
• Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
• Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
• Forming room capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements add long range planning
• Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
• Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs.
• Interfaces with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed. Replace with evaluate inventory levels to determine stock requirements and build plan
• Creates/releases requisitions. Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts
Basic Qualifications:
Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 4):

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 8 years of supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR in lieu of degree 12 years of supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR a master's degree and 6 years of supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
• Ability to work in a team environment while also being able to work independently with limited oversight
• Experience with material forecasting and variance reporting
• Experience with SAP and Solumina
• Expertise in excel and utilizing vlookups and tables
Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience leading supply chain, demand planning, scheduling, inventory management, material forecast, experience identifying tooling requirements.
• An interest in and enthusiasm for developing and leading trainings, as well as supporting and mentoring teammates as they grow in their role.
• Experience with Supply Chain functions for proposals including BOEs, Subcontractor Content, and the QUEST system.
• Ability to be agile and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Previous defense experience
Salary Range: $98,100 - $147,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
