Sr. Software Engineer (#RY-0804)Job Description:
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy business solutions on the salesforce platform based on industry best practices and business needs.
- Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC (salesforce platform) application.
- Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions.
- Maintain data security.
- Interface with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products.
- Advise and enforce development process model from analysis and scope to delivery and measurement.
- Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC), continuous improvement, and dev-ops automation.
- Develop, assemble, and maintain a library of model documents, templates, best practices, and other reusable knowledge assets.
- Research integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staff.
- Research and development of new Salesforce.com prototypes and applications.
- Research and keep current on force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs with development team members.
- Participate and engage in all software development team meetings and facilitate continuous improvement within the environment.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Three years of experience as a salesforce developer.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and five years of progressive experience as a salesforce developer in lieu of a Master's degree and three years of experience.
- Work experience to include: 1. Two years of experience in technical architecture. 2. Leveraging salesforce data structure to meet process and reporting requirements. 3. Managing projects and priorities using project management methodologies and development practices, including agile scrum, to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions. 4. Utilizing the following software programming languages: Force.com, Application Programming Interface (APIs), APEX, Visual Force, Java, JavaScript, Extensible Markup Language (XML), Hypertext Markup Language revision 5 (HTML5), and integration to enterprise systems, lightening web components.
- Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
- 40 hrs./wk.
- Salary: $126,216 to $131,216 per year.
