Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) - Enterprise Software development for the USAF

Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) is a United States Air Force (USAF) program to provide an autonomous, long-range, conventional, air-to-ground, precision missile able to strike highly defended, high value targets. JASSM Enterprise Software (JES) was developed to improves quality and speed in targeting and strike planning solutions across multiple 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group (363 ISRG) production units and the Standoff Munitions Application Centers (SMAC).

THE WORK
This role would also require the following:
* Ability to identify areas that can be optimized across the JASSM Enterprise Software portfolio via automated methods
* Generate training material in the form of computer-based software to provide for JASSM stakeholders
* Regular interaction with customers to provide analysis support
* Travel would be required <10% of the time.

WHO WE ARE
As part of the C4ISR Weapons Platform Integration (WPI) team, you will support on-site mission optimization analysis for seeker model analysis & target artifact analysis as part of the JASSM Enterprise Software program. Reporting to the Mission Analysis Product Manager, you will work with cross-functional, multi-site teams and should be comfortable working in a highly dynamic customer environment and adept at working with geographically dispersed teams.

Basic Qualifications:
* Strong analytics skills
* Critical thinking, analytical thinking
* Ability to communicate with various customers / stakeholders
* Ability to understand automated tools and identify additional areas for optimization
Desired Skills:
* Experience with 3D modeling tools
* Desire to learn about the JASSM missile / seeker
* Experience with various programming languages, including Python, MATLAB, and C#
* Experience working in an Agile development environment, including tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence
* Experience with Remote Sensing / Imagery

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
