Description:Why Work For Us:
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Systems Engineer professional to join our team in Valley Forge, PA. This position is in the C4ISR market segment supporting the United States Navy (USN) PMA-281 program which provides systems engineering support to the Tomahawk Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC).
What Will You Be Doing:
presenting tasking status to senior staff and government representatives at regular customer engagements and will be expected to interact with USN operational community.
perform a limited amount of travel in support of these engagements.
Be a self-starter who is able to work within a team environment under supervision from senior leadership.
Perform systems engineering tasking covering imagery/geospatial intelligence, systems analysis related to targeting, weaponeering, mission planning systems/software, and interfaces management across TMPC
Be responsible for managing external system interfaces, developing and maintaining Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), managing risk and opportunity register, and identifying benefits/impacts to operational TMPC software.
Demonstrate strong problem solving, technical writing, and communication skills
Work location will be in Valley Forge, PA with ability to work virtually on occasion. Applicants will need to hold an active DoD Secret clearance and be eligible to be submitted for TS/SCI sponsorship.

Basic Qualifications:
*Experience in systems engineering such as system architecture of a SW system and/or requirements development/traceability/verification.
* Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
* Experience working with inter-organizational teams and external customers/users
* Demonstrated experience in technical report preparation
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Willingness for occasional foreign and domestic travel
* must currently have a DoD SECRET Security Clearance with ability to gain TS/SCI clearance upon hire
Desired Skills:
* USN domain experience
* Working knowledge of imagery and geospatial intelligence systems
* Familiarity with intelligence community imagery, geospatial products, and data formats
* Operational view/Concept of Operations (CONOPs) generation
* Working knowledge of DoD target planning and associated systems
* Risk & opportunity management
* Building customer relationships
* TS/SCI Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
