Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Juno Beach, FL (remote w/ travel)
Rate: $50-$75/hr
Duration: 6+ month contract with long term opportunity
Position Specific Description
The Energy Storage team is looking for an innovative and dynamic Project Manager who is passionate about renewable energy. In this position you will focus on creating a tool and processes critical to the successful management of our battery energy storage system (BESS) augmentation program. This short-term project will include gathering cross-functional stakeholder feedback to combine into a tool that leverages both technical and financial data to be used across the enterprise to maximize the cost efficiency of the BESS portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Collect cross-functional stakeholder requirements and feedback while managing project scope, priorities and enhancement opportunities
· Create a new PowerBI dashboard combining historical cost data, measured site performance data and model projections from a multitude of non-linked systems, to be used across the enterprise as a historian of past projects, to define present-day strategy as well as function as a tool to project impacts of strategy pivots.
Preferred Work Experience
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing complex Power BI dashboards that include multiple linked data systems requiring aggregation of large data volume and analytics using M, VBA, DAX etc.
· Demonstrated experience and skill managing technical and financial aspects of a large-scale fleet, including influence of maintenance, CAPEX, O&M spend or daily operations strategy
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical and non-technical concepts to diverse audiences and working independently with cross-functional customers to maintain project progress.
· Basic knowledge of BESS technology and equipment, as well as fundamental understanding of typical operational, financial and augmentation strategies for utility-scale projects.
· Shows maturity of technical expertise and assumes responsibility for highly specialized technical objectives.
· Experience building automation and lean methods into systems/tools to streamline digital product maintenance and operation.
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science or related field from an ABET accredited program preferred, or
· 5+ years of proven relevant experience
