Full Job Description
- Picking and packing items for dispatch
- Processing inbound and outbound shipments (e.g. sorting, loading and unloading goods)
- Preparing and verifying shipping documents
- Ensuring products are stored in the correct location and in good condition
- Receiving, unpacking, arranging and storing goods
- Checking stock for damage and wear, reporting faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and marking and labeling stock
- Managing inventory, offloading shipments, preparing orders and operating machinery
- Performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock.
- Operating mechanical equipment and vehicles to load and unload materials
- Storing, counting, weighing, labeling, and opening materials received
- Filling warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high
- Preparing and verifying shipping documents
- Disposing of leftover packing materials
