Please review the following job description:

Directs the function responsible for designing and executing strategic remediation efforts through effective change management. Responsible for partnering with business leaders and risk management leaders across the organization in planning and execution for remediation solutions to support critical remediation efforts across the enterprise. Manages a team that collaborates with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders at all levels, and leads initiatives to remediate existing issues and improve the compliance posture across the business. This position requires deep subject matter expertise in Truist’s lines of business and enterprise functions including corresponding processes and technology that enable business operations. This role will be responsible for designing and executing a broad array of change initiatives with the goal of helping the bank manage risk through strategic remediation efforts that are complex in their design and delivery. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to engage and coordinate the needs of the various lines of business and enterprise functions partners.

1. Regulatory Remediation Leadership: Lead the identification, assessment, and remediation of regulatory issues impacting the organization. Ensure timely and effective resolution of compliance gaps and issues through structured initiatives.

2. Change Management Strategy: Develop and implement change management strategies to drive regulatory compliance and operational improvements to support remediation. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all changes are communicated, executed, and adopted successfully.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with risk, compliance, technology, operations, and other relevant departments to align remediation efforts with organizational goals and regulatory expectations.

4. Process Improvement: Analyze current regulatory processes, policies, and systems, and partner with business leaders, GCOs, and Risk Management teammates to develop strategies for continuous improvement to mitigate future regulatory risks and enhance operational efficiency.

5. Risk Management: Develop and maintain effective communication with aligned business leadership Teams and Governance and Control Officers regarding activities, trends, and events pertaining to Risk, Regulatory, Audit, Compliance and Review activities; promoting an internal risk culture that encourages self-identification, promoting various risk initiatives and their supporting metrics, and the maturity of various aligned business and risk committees/councils.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree in a business discipline.

2. Fifteen+ years of experience in financial services.

3. Experience leading broad, multi-functional strategic initiatives from start to finish.

4. Experience leading issue remediation efforts.

5. Strong people leadership with ability to motivate and develop talent at all levels.

6. Excellent relationship building skills at all levels of the organization.

7. Proven ability to influence a diverse array of stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.

2. Twenty plus years in business related experience.

3. Twenty plus years managing a large, enterprise scale operations team.

4. Graduate of industry banking school(s).

5. Experience managing onshore/offshore processes.

6. Participation/leadership within industry trade associations or relevant industry groups.
